After tossing and turning in the wee hours of the morning, I said enough of that and got up to start my day! The first order of business was to drive over to Whole Foods Market at the Hudson Yards to do my grocery shopping.
While on the way to the bathroom to begin my morning get-ready routine, unfortunately, I hit my toe on the bed frame leg, and of course, I yelled out, OUCH! If this has happened to you before, you know the excruciating pain I felt for those 45 seconds. LOL!
After surviving that mishap and my big toe feeling better, I got dressed, grabbed a bagel with cream cheese, hopped in the car, and drove over to the Hudson Yards.
Once I settled on a parking garage to put my car in, I was on the move to Whole Foods, but first, I wanted to get a peek at the Vessel, which is nearby.
I haven't seen the Vessel since they put up the holiday lights, so I was curious to see what it looked like, and I am glad I did. As soon as I came around the corner and saw the unique spiral staircase structure, I stood frozen for a moment, and my initial thought was WOW!
I quickly pulled out my iPhone, started taking pics, and then spent the next six minutes reflecting and writing this post! 🙂
