Rockefeller Center - Part 2

Adding to yesterday’s post, I also visited the Christmas Angels near the world-famous Rockefeller Center Tree. For those of you not familiar, the Channel Garden Fountains in Rockefeller Plaza are turned off during the holiday season and transformed into what you see in the picture.

What’s more, each of the sculptures has a 6-foot-long brass trumpet pointed towards the tree with what looks like snowflakes falling from a bunch of tiny blinking bright white lights. It’s truly a sight to behold!

As I took a slow walk through this gorgeous place, I made sure to open my eyes wide and concentrate on embracing the moment and all it had to offer.

Although it was raining and freezing outside when I was there, that was of no consequence because I felt warm inside. On top of that, I managed to strike up a socially distant conversation with a photographer and police officer, taking pictures nearby, which capped off an already memorable experience.

Well, valuable connections, that closes the loop to this weekend’s post. Thank you so much for reading it. I hope that it provided a little holiday joy to your weekend. 😊

Have a wonderful Sunday!
