After typing in my password to access the home screen on my iPhone, I noticed a notification alert on the weather app, so I motioned my left thumb to tap the icon to check the weather.
Upon learning that the temperate was a nippy 30 degrees, all of a sudden, I began to hear a whisper in my ear, getting louder and louder, telling me to look up at the bridge to get a glimpse of a greyhound bus speeding towards the Lincoln Tunnel!
At that moment, I knew that the outline of an exciting journal entry or a 1,300 character LinkedIn post was about to appear in my head. Before getting lost in thought, I had the presence of mind to snap a pic to vividly relive this experience when rereading my thoughts during this exact moment in time.
Now fully present, the traffic light turns green, and I watch a lady wearing a Santa Claus hat driving a pearl metallic Mercedes make a right turn onto Port Imperial Blvd and zip by a tiny mountain of snow.
I then spent the next 17-seconds on the corner, adoring the view of the trees and snow on the side of the hill while listening to the soothing sounds of nature. Simply amazing!
So what happened next? The pedestrian walking signal came on, and I walked across the street. LOL!
Share your thoughts, and enjoy your evening! 😊
