On the Way to Tribeca...

Being awakened abruptly at 5:57 am by the voice of a cable news anchor screaming at the top of his lungs is not how I wanted to start my Saturday! Thus, I quickly grabbed the remote control from the nightstand to lower the volume, turned the channel to a smooth jazz station, and went back to sleep. 😴

An hour later, I woke up with the sun shining in my face, jumped out of bed, and got into my morning routine. Before I knew it, I was singing in the shower and thinking about heading over to Tribeca to jog up to Hell’s Kitchen, near the theater district for my weekend cardio exercise. Let’s do it!

Now speed walking through an underground walkway looking at a long digital billboard on the way to Tribeca, I became spellbound by an ad with a female runner wearing a stylish mask, literally stopping me dead in my tracks!

Standing there reading the tagline at the bottom of this massive screen, before I could finish reading the sentence, the picture changed, and I stood there anxiously waiting for the mask image to reappear. Lol! It took 3-minutes to resurface, and when it did, I snapped a pic and started laughing at myself profusely!

To end, I’ve learned that you can have fun anywhere, even in a tunnel, especially when you’re intentional.

Have a fun weekend! 😊
