While standing on the corner next to a stop sign waiting for a car to drive by before crossing the street, I began checking out a painting on the side of an apartment building. Admittedly, I have walked by this high-rise building a thousand times, and yet, this was the first time I had the desire to thoroughly exam this picture.
As a result, I put going into the gym on hold for a few minutes and walked over to take a closer look.
Obviously, the female images were most noticeable, yet my eyes gravitated towards the tiny butterflies, which you may need to enlarge to see in this photo.
The second my eyes made contact with the butterflies, a quote recently reintroduced to me flashed in my head, "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty." ~ Maya Angelou
I immediately felt a spirit of optimism for anyone going through a difficult stretch and in need of some random words of encouragement. Moreover, I believe that beautiful days are ahead for us all!
Wow! Those six minutes standing on the corner writing this post felt more like 45 seconds. LOL! Kidding aside, I just wanted to send out some positive vibes to my network this evening as the words came to me. 😊
Enjoy your evening!
