Relaxing at the Pier

After an intense Sunday afternoon workout at the gym, I went outside to cool down and take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather with my fellow New Yorkers.

Upon walking through the revolving doors to get outside, I wandered around the pier area for a bit and then found a place to sit with a lovely view at a safe distance from the people nearby.

Once settled and enjoying the beauty of my surroundings, I reached into my bag to take out my Surface Pro Tablet to check my LinkedIn feed and read a few posts. After consuming some positive content that piqued my curiosity, I felt like writing, so I clicked on my journal notebook to capture my thoughts.

Before I began typing, I took a moment to concentrate on the soothing sounds of the Hudson. I then leaned back in the chair to look up at the sky, and while doing so, I watched as the wind blew a woman's hair into her face as she was scrolling through her smartphone. Without missing a beat, she motioned her left hand to gently remove the hair covering her eyes and then made a phone call. Lol!

As this weekend comes to an end, and I head home to relax, I hope reading my latest spontaneous moment adds to the joy in your day. 😊

Have a pleasant evening and a productive week ahead!
